Product Description
Sulfuric acid process titanium dioxide grade TiO2 90% slag is the core upgraded raw material that replaces traditional titanium concentrate in the sulfuric acid process TiO₂ production. Its main difference lies in its extremely high titanium dioxide enrichment (≥90%) and very low iron content, which directly determines its efficient performance in the acidolysis reaction.
This product utilizes the cutting-edge 3150KVA submerged arc furnace (electric arc furnace) reduction smelting process. Through high-temperature physicochemical reactions at 1600-1800℃, it converts the iron element in titanium concentrate into metallic iron, allowing the TiO₂ content in the slag to be precisely stabilized at over 90%. Its unique micro-pore structure significantly enhances the contact area for reaction with sulfuric acid, ensuring an extremely high acidolysis rate and stable reaction.

In the application of the sulfuric acid process, 90% sulfuric acid grade Sulphate titanium slag typically exhibits remarkable reactivity. Due to a significant reduction in iron content, the production of ferrous sulfate, a waste by-product generated during the production of each ton of titanium dioxide, is reduced by approximately 80%, greatly alleviating the pressure on post-treatment.
This product places a strong emphasis on "acidolysis compatibility", making it especially suitable for the expansion and renovation of old production lines. It effectively enhances the heat balance within the acidolysis tank, reducing the risk of boiler explosions caused by intense reactions. The high-end pigments synthesized by this product boast advantages such as uniform particle distribution, excellent durability, and environmental friendliness, making them ideal raw materials for the production of high-performance, high-slump coatings.
This production line utilizes a cluster of 15 large electric arc furnaces for operation.
