Metallurgical grade 90 Metallurgical titanium slag, also known as sponge titanium grade titanium-rich material, is a high-quality enriched raw material commonly used in the metal titanium smelting process for the production of sponge titanium and special alloys. Its main distinguishing features include high titanium dioxide content, superior reduction reaction kinetics, and extremely low levels of impurities (such as aluminum, silicon, calcium, and magnesium).

Metallurgical grade 90 high-titanium slag is used as a metallurgical additive and core smelting material, produced using a 3150 KVA submerged arc furnace (electric arc furnace) reduction smelting, and precise temperature control technology. Its high TiO2 retention rate significantly improves the reactivity during the downstream synthesis of metallic titanium and alloys, resulting in good molten pool stability, excellent slag-metal separation performance, and superior overall production efficiency.

The high-performance metallic titanium synthesized using this product has advantages such as low impurity content, good density, high smelting efficiency, low energy consumption, good durability, and environmental friendliness. It can be used for large-scale continuous smelting and long-distance material storage in sponge titanium plants.
